Recently i setup a handheld system for retro gaming. The thing was, that every theme i tried, something was a bit off for me. In one, was the fonts, in other the images, in other the style etc. So i gathered elements from various themes, that i liked and combined them to a new theme. Of course i added some stuff of mine :)
The theme is called RetroAmber. It uses orange-ish colors and have a retro-8bit-arcade style/theme. I used a clear and large enough font, to be used also in smaller screens. I think that overall is a clean and pleasant to the eye theme, at least it is for me :p
The elements i used from other themes are:
- Bottom bar from Carbon theme
- Selector, font, logos and consoles from Pixel theme
- Some text elements from Retro-CRT theme
- Sound, rating from SNES mini theme
- Image masks from TechDweebs theme
So, credits for the art, logos etc goes to the creators of them. I just added some new background images and combined them all in a theme.
